Fall Wedding round 2, gettin tough in Wenatchee!

In November Washington is not especially warm. East of the Cascades in November in Washington, is especially frigid.  I can honestly say I don't think I've subjected a group of bridesmaids and groomsmen to more abuse... we braved the 34 degree weather, dodged some freezing rain, hurricane winds, and made it inside just in time for the onslaught of a nice November sleet shower!

But all in all, everyone had such a great attitude and I had an amazing work day with some really cool people.  Chattering smiles and all

Bellingham Crabbing

Friend and crabber extroardinaire Phil Cibicki recently took me on a mini excursion for the small tasty eight sea-going clawed friends we know as red rock crabs.  A nice frigid afternoon shaped up nicely into a deathly chilling evening, as we dropped our single pot, and went to Woods Coffee to catch a killer sunset and a cup of something warm.  While we didn't get any keepers, it was far from a wasted adventure!

Not a bad afternoon,

Brothers from Another, Dyno Jamz, Scribes and Blue Scholars

A show to remember for Bellingham hip-hop, a ton of killer artists came to Western and filled the MPR to capacity.  With enough beats to start a factory and some new stuff from everyone, The Blue Scholars finished their tour in style at what they said was where they feel most 'at home.'

With Brothers from Another, Dyno Jamz, Scribes, and The Blue Scholars themselves, I had a great time watching some crowd surfing, and hip hop legends in the making.

Weddings Wrap up, two down and one to go!

I got to do some of my first fall weddings this year, and was so thankful for the people I was lucky enough to work with! In case you didn't know, fall in the Northwest, is not exactly nice, or cooperative, or warm...or sunny... but anyways whining aside, I had a blast with so many people with such great attitudes that it made it a breeze (pun intended) and made for some of my favorite wedding shots I've made so far.

so thanks!
