WWU Hockey, can't get enough!

When I found out Western had a hockey team 2 years ago, I thought it might be cool to see a game or two.

I didn't realize I'd be hooked to going and shooting some great games with great athletes and seriously hard hitting action.  It seems everyone else has been realizing it too. I can't get enough Western Hockey lately, it's an absolute challenge to shoot through puck scuffed glass, in a terribly lit building and a game that is as unpredictable as this guy.

It's that time again, WWU Hockey!

Absolutely one of my favorite sports to shoot, the Western Hockey team also makes it a blast to watch when they pummel all comers to the Bellingham Sportsplex Ice Arena.

UW came to town for the first game of the year, and with a few hundred spectators packed around the arena, a gritty showdown was sure to follow.  In a hard fought battle Western came out on top 2-1.
