Love them or hate them, the idea of iPhones being used journalistically is not a new idea.  I have actually been able to capture some photos, that I may not have been otherwise able to however, since they are so small and sometimes unnoticeable.  Using the new 4S, this whole gallery is made of images from my phone.

Mike Davis presentation at Redbox Studio

Witnessed one of the most inspiring, informational and invaluable presentations I've ever seen last weekend, as world renowned photo editor, and Portland patron Mike Davis spoke on the techniques, importance and editing processes of good Photojournalism. The great photographers at Redbox Pictures kindly held the meeting in their awesome downtown seattle studio.

  I've never felt so good about working hard to keep a camera in my hands.
