"Fishing" A Free-For-All thats Free For All...

Chum salmon are running by the thousands up the mouth of Whatcom Creek in Bellingham's Maritime Heritage Park this time of year.  Anglers line the concrete ledge shoulder to shoulder for their chance at hooking into the big one.  If someone is so lucky to get a bite, (or tail hook one) they proceed to drag it along the ledge, being sure to call out "Fish comin' down!" so that other anglers will lift their arms and poles, allowing them to cross underneath London-bridge style.

Quite a site.
